Environmental Authorisations granted
Jones & Wagener (Pty) Ltd Engineering and Environmental Consultants (J&W) would like to notify all registered Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) of the status of the Environmental Authorisations received from the Department of Forestry, Fishery and Environment (DFFE) for the Taaibosch Puts Energy Cluster projects in the Northern Cape. The DFFE is the competent authority for the applications for the proposed wind and solar energy facilities whereas the Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Rural Development, and Land Reform is the competent authority for gridline applications.
The applicant was granted Environmental Authorisation (EA) by the DFFE for the following projects which form part of the Taaibosch Puts Energy Cluster in the Northern Cape:
